Wisdom Library ("the App," "we," "us") is operated by Go Big LLC. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to our mobile app and to our website at mywisdomlibrary.com.
Information We Collect
Account information. When you create an account, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile information (name, profile photo) provided by Google.
Reading activity. We store your reading progress, bookmarks, notes, favorites, and reading history (including time spent reading) so we can sync your library across devices and show you stats like books completed and reading streaks.
Subscription information. If you subscribe, our payment processors (Apple App Store, Google Play, Stripe, or RevenueCat) handle your payment details directly — we never see or store your card number. We receive confirmation of your subscription status (active, expired, etc.) so we can grant access to premium content.
Language preference. We store your chosen app language (English or Spanish).
How you found us. When you install the App or sign up through a link we provide (for example, a link in one of our videos), we record the source of that link so we can understand which channels bring readers.
Website. The website stores small amounts of data in your browser (local storage) to keep you signed in and to remember your language.
How We Use Information
- To provide and maintain your account and reading library
- To sync your progress, bookmarks, and notes across devices
- To manage your subscription and premium access
- To communicate with you about your account or updates to the App (we do not send marketing emails unless you opt in)
- To improve the App based on aggregate usage patterns
Google User Data
If you choose to sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We use this information only to create and identify your account and to display your name in the App. We do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone other than the service providers listed below. Wisdom Library's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Service providers who help us run the App — Supabase (database and authentication hosting), RevenueCat and Stripe (subscription and payment management), and Cloudflare (website hosting) — solely to provide their services to us
- Legal authorities, if required by law
Data Retention
We retain your account and reading data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at [email protected].
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Your Choices
You may update your language and profile information within the App, and you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected].
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
